Rescued!

This bat-eared baby girl is "Rayah," a one-year-old chihuahua mix. She was my dog-for-the-day at Sunday's animal adoption event at a local park:

Rayah was adopted by a nice young couple who have two rescued cats (that's her new momma, holding her):

I think she's smiling, here, because she knows what a lucky gal she is. Have a happy life, Rayah!
