Retro-Style Turquoise Birdbath

 At the local garden center today, I spied the most adorable retro-looking birdbath:

For years, I thought I couldn't have a birdbath in the garden because of Roosevelt, our outdoors cat. But now Rosie is getting old; he doesn't move fast enough to be a threat to birds.

So this turquoise cutie just had to come home with me. (Mu Shu seems to like it, too!)

I love the two little birds perched on the basin:

And the bigger one on the pedestal:

I added a little water, a few rocks for birds to stand on, and now it's all set:

Open for business, birds! Come 'n' get it!
