Garage-Sale Royal Doulton China

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I snapped up a great find at a neighbor's garage sale. "Bunnykins" china, by Royal Doulton:

The set includes a plate:

A bowl:

(I love the chaotic scene at the bottom of the bowl, with one naughty bunny knocking jars off the shelf and another running outside to play):

And a mug:

Here's the back side of the mug:

The price was an incredible bargain--just $2--and the china has never been used before, my neighbor said. Still has its sales stickers on it, too:

That comes off with a quick application of Goo Gone, my go-to solution for stubborn labels:

I bought beautiful china like this for my children when they were little. Then I hardly ever let them use it, for fear of them smashing it. Silly!

This time, I'm going to use the china myself. It's the perfect size for an afternoon snack,or a cup of tea.
