Carmel Blues

Last weekend, I had the infinite pleasure of visiting Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, with a number of my book-club friends. We had the best time eating, drinking, window-shopping, hiking, and deepening our friendships with each other.

With the beautiful Pacific always near us, I captured a bunch of images featuring my favorite color, blue.

Here are some of them, for your enjoyment:

  1. (So close and yet so far -- we're only an hour from Carmel.) Such lovely, creative shots of blues in such gorgeous country (a blue fire plug!?...who knew?!). Sounds like a lovely time! I'm jealous -- its been too long since I was there. *sigh*

  2. Beautiful pictures--I can hear Carmel calling my name (unfortunately, it isn't calling Kasi's name, and we are joined at the hip these days...)
